Robert Miser
Robert Whitworth Miser of Naperville, Illinois died suddenly on September 14, 2017 at the age of 55.
He was born on October 4, 1961 in Downers Grove, Illinois to John and Alice Miser. He was the eighth of nine children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Jim, Bill and Cynthia. He lives on through his loving wife Mallison, (nee Carney), and his sons Ryan, Michael and Anthony. He was a special friend to his nephews Josh and Noah. He is also survived by his siblings Deborah (Joseph) Sedlmayer, Mary (Al Randall) Miser, John (Marilyn) Miser, George (Jane) Miser, Nancy (Larry Davis) Miser and by his in-laws Richard and Dorothy Carney, Bradford Carney, and Hilary (Steven) Jambor as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Huck and Finn.
Bob was a graduate of Geneva High School. He received a Bachelor of Science from Illinois Benedictine College and received his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Bob was a gourmet cook, camper, boater, comedian, doctor, professor, scuba diver, carpenter, electrician, mechanic, fixer of all things broken and the best husband anyone could wish for. Everything he did he did with passion and to perfection. Bob will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his incredible capacity to care for others and his extraordinary love for his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society or to the Boy Scouts of America.
