Kristi Ward
Kristine ''Kristi'' E. Armstrong, of Saratoga Springs, NY, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003 at her home. She was 42. Born on Sept. 26, 1961 in Hinsdale, Illinois, she was a daughter of Stewart R. and Bianca, nee Kincaid, Moran. A graduate of Geneva High School, Geneva, Illinois and Western Illinois University. She received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University, Chicago and a Master's Degree in Education from Siena College. She taught and received a teaching award at Jones High School in Chicago and also taught at the Marion Baker School in Costa Rica and at Ballston Spa and Saratoga Springs High Schools. A member of Bethesda Episcopal Church, Kristi was a fitness advocate and had a special love for animals working as a Docent at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister, Diana Royer, who died in 2001. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Bianca and James Moran, of Plainfield; her husband, Timothy M. Armstrong and her son, Alex Stewart Armstrong, both of Saratoga Springs; two brothers, Brian (Kelly) Ward of Saratoga Springs and Ken (Amy) Ward of Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
